As an expensive skincare dupe addict, I had to join the search.

Everything from its texture to the very experience of application feels exquisite, and the after-effects are appreciated by the many fans of this moisturizer — mainly people with dry or normal skin, but also those fans of a dewy, healthy glow.

Best Tatcha Dewy Skin Cream dupes for cheaper
1. Top Choice: Versed Skin Soak
The first affordable alternative to Tatcha Dewy Skin Cream is Versed Skin Soak.
Retailing for about $17 for 1.5 oz (43 g), this is a fraction of the cost of what you’d pay for Tatcha.
This is a rich moisturizer that’s not greasy but leaves the skin as nourished and pretty as the Tatcha’s Dewy Skin moisturizer.
Ingredients-wise it’s nothing like the Tatcha, even though it has glycerin, squalane, and hyaluronic acid as typical ingredients.
This is a pretty straight-forward cream, with no frills to it, and it’s a hypoallergenic formula that can suit even sensitive skin types.
What we like:
- There are no common irritants in the formula — no alcohol, no fragrance, and no essential oils.
- This Tatcha replacement is dirt-cheap and widely available in stores.
- A very close result of application, leaves a dewy look, just like Tatcha’s cream.
- Fluffy, silky, rich texture that reminds a lot of the Tatcha Dewy Cream.
- The algae extract is similar to Tatcha Dewy Cream, although not the same, it still leaves a dewy, healthy glow.
What to have in mind:
This has none of the Asian beauty extracts present in Tatcha’s moisturizer.
2. Bliss Glow Rush Vitamin C Daily Moisturizer
This next replacement of Tatcha Dewy Skin Cream contains a stable form of vitamin C (Tetrahexyldecyl Ascorbate) that makes your skin glow from within with consistent use.
The formula features shea butter, squalane, and sunflower seed oil that give a close experience to what Tatcha’s moisturizer does. We also have vitamin E in here, which is present in the Tatcha’s product, too.
This is more of a lightweight cream with a great consistency, similar to Tatcha’s Dewy Skin. Non-sticky and non-greasy finish that leaves your skin illuminated with a healthy glow.
What we like:
- Sits perfectly underneath makeup or as a stand-alone illuminator, and makes your skin look radiant.
- Hydrates the skin perfectly and for hours.
- The formula is rich in skin-loving goodness such as antioxidants and soothing compounds.
- No common irritants in this one either — great for sensitive skin!
What to have in mind:
Since it’s fragrance and color-free, this product doesn’t feel as luxurious as Tatcha’s Dewy Cream, even though the consistency matches.
3. Ishizawa-Lab Keana Nadeshiko Pore Care & Moisturizer Rice Face Cream
This next moisturizer similar to Tatcha Dewy Skin Cream is part of a rice series by Ishizawa-Lab, a Japanese skincare brand with amazing products rich in skin-loving ingredients.
The Keana Nadeshiko Pore Care Rice Moisturizer has many compounds similar to Tatcha’s Dewy Skin.
We have glycerin, rice bran oil, squalane, and many other rice extracts that moisturize the skin effectively while soothing any potential irritation. Hyaluronic acid is also present in the formula.
This is a thicker cream, more appropriate for the evening or as a post-procedure skin treatment when your skin needs a bit of TLC. It nourishes, hydrates, and protects the skin by hugging it nicely in a creamy-smooth hug.
What we like:
- The thicker texture allows it to act as a treatment or an overnight face mask that nourishes your skin while you sleep.
- A lot of great-for-the-skin ingredients with moisturizing and soothing properties.
- A formula that stays true to Asian skincare standards.
What to have in mind:
It goes out of stock quickly and it’s hard to find it in shops.

4. Laneige Water Bank Blue Hyaluronic Cream Moisturizer
This next Tatcha Dewy Skin alternative is all about moisturizing the skin while soothing it.
It boasts glycerin, squalane, and ceramide NP which all hydrate and support the health of our skin. Allantoin and beta-glucan calm down irritation, and soothe the skin upon application.
While hydrating the skin with a rich and creamy consistency, it also acts as a great primer underneath makeup. With a slight fragrance, it gives a luxurious feel upon layering this on your skin.
We also have fermented deep sea algae in this one, similar to Tatcha’s Dewy Skin Moisturizer.
What we like:
- Makeup stays exceptionally good on top of this moisturizer. This has a natural finish that provides a great canvas for your look and has a nice grip.
- The creamy formula is deeply hydrating and soothing and the result is a plumped-up skin.
- The formula is also great for combination and oily skin types, as it’s not heavy and greasy.
What to have in mind:
As with other Tatcha Dewy Cream replacements, this one also doesn’t feature a lot of plant extracts typical for Korean and Japanese skincare.

5. DearKlairs Midnight Blue Calming Cream
Another face cream similar to Tatcha’s Dewy Skin Cream, Klairs is a blue-colored skin goodness with a slight cooling effect upon application (there’s no menthol!).
It’s simply amazing for sensitive skin as it calms redness and irritation upon application, so I end up using this after hair removal or chemical peels.
It has a gentle, non-comedogenic formula that deeply hydrates the skin and leaves a nice glowy finish similar to Tatcha’s moisturizer.
The formula is enriched with Guaiazulene, a compound extracted from chamomile oil with powerful calming properties. Together with Centella Asiatica, these two ingredients soothe even the angriest of skins.
What we like:
- The formula has a pH of 7.0 ± 1.0, which is close to what our skin has.
- Feels like a cooling shower on your face, and instantly calms redness.
- The blue color gives it an exquisite look similar to what Tatcha feels and looks.
- There are no fragrances, alcohol, or other irritants in this formula.
What to have in mind:
This cream has a natural scent from its ingredients, so if you want a more elevated experience, you might not be impressed with this one.
6. Bliss Ex-Glow-Sion
Dubbed as the closest dupe to Tatcha’s Dewy Skin Cream, the only reason why this isn’t at the top of my list is because the formula contains some potential irritants for folks with sensitive skin.
Otherwise, this is as close of an experience to Tatcha’s cream as there could be.
The Bliss Ex-Glow-Sion is a super-rich moisturizer, as the name suggests, that flies off the shelves as soon as it lands there.
By now everyone who loves Tatcha has already heard of this one, so the demand seems to outrun the supply often. It’s frequently out of stock, which makes many people think that this is discontinued, while in fact, it’s still available in stores.
But I digress.
This cream is very similar to Tatcha’s Dewy Skin Cream not only in experience, but also in terms of the result — it gives your skin the same glow and dew as the Tatcha, but also hydrates the skin in depth.
What we like:
- I love the fragrance and the entire user experience of this product that puts it so close to what Tatcha offers.
- A small amount of product goes a long way and this usually lasts me for several months of consistent use.
- This gives outstanding hydration to my face and it’s not too heavy. I have a combination skin type with an oily T-zone, and I can handle this product perfectly well.
What to have in mind:
- If you have sensitive skin, the fragrance in this can irritate you, so bear that in mind.
- It’s frequently out of stock or at a high price due to the increased demand.

Tatcha’s Dewy Skin Cream features several ingredients that can be problematic for people prone to pore clogging. These include Myristyl Myristate, Tocopherol, and Sorbitan Isostearate.
