In terms of consistency, it has a rather heavy texture that slathers with some effort, and it could be challenging to dispense the product from the tube.

What we like:
The 2% salicylic acid is a great addition. In most other face masks, the percentage of active ingredients is not disclosed, meaning that you won’t know if it’ll be effective.

The mask feels gentle on the skin and has a slight non-disturbing scent. You can feel how it clears the skin without leaving it over-stripped.

The good news is that you also don’t have to use it all the time to enjoy the results because of how potent it is. Once or twice a week is enough.

What to have in mind:
I don’t enjoy how difficult it is to spread, but it’s not something to cry over.

The Glamglow Supermud mask dupes that have made it to my list contain similar ingredients but come at a lower price.

In a nutshell, here are the things you should be looking for.

Here are some of the most popular suggestions and a brief explanation of why I’m not recommending them:

1. L’Oréal Paris Pure-Clay Mask – although there are plenty of benefits that the L’oreal pure clay mask can offer, it is extremely strongly scented – I just can’t handle it. It can seriously irritate and dehydrate the skin and a lot of acne-prone people in my circle share negative experiences with the product. I tried it and wasn’t impressed with the results. It’s a “no” from me.

Again, the fragrance in this product is too much to bear. Furthermore, the texture is lumpy. Overall, it seems like the formula has changed and the current version isn’t as good as before, so why even try it when there are plenty of other dupes?
