The OG Glossier seems to slowly step away from the skincare and makeup routines of many beauty lovers.
And no wonder.
Their products are sometimes too expensive, sometimes unavailable, and sometimes, frankly, not that good.
But I do get those of you core lovers of the brand.
I also was a religious Cloud Paint user until Korean brands stepped onto the scene.
And I do love my Milky Jelly Cleanser — it’s a staple that just works for me. But I’ve managed to find two other products that are just better.
Here are all the brands like Glossier that I’ve managed to find so far — skincare and makeup-wise.
Skincare brands like Glossier
When it comes to skincare, Glossier is known for its minimalistic, gentle formulations that boost hydration and result in a dewy finish.
The packaging of Glossier products is also worth mentioning now that the aesthetic of a brand is judged on par with what’s inside — Glossier packaging is aesthetically pleasing, minimalistic, and modern, with a youthful feel to it.
However, Glossier isn’t known for very effective formulations, but more so such that have a pleasant experience. Also, some of their skincare is ridiculously priced for what you’re getting.
So, I’ve come across several skincare brands similar to Glossier but either cheaper or more effective in their formulations. Or even both.
e.l.f. skin
e.l.f. cosmetics is an American brand shipping both skincare and makeup products, however, I’m strictly focusing on their skincare line, as the brand is like Glossier in that regard, and I’d say even better.
Their Holy Hydration! line is a must for any skincare lover. The products have amazing quality, especially considering the price point, which is dirt cheap in comparison to some Glossier stuff.
The Bounce Back Jelly Cleanser is like Glossier’s Milky Jelly Cleanser in the sense that it’s a budget option that cleanses the skin well without stripping it from its moisture.
At e.l.f. skin you’ll see skincare generally below the $15 mark that doesn’t lack anything in terms of quality. A must-try if you’re looking for skincare brands like Glossier.

Versed
Versed, a sister of Clinique, is another skincare brand similar to Glossier but far much better in terms of quality.
Their Dew Point Gel Moisturizer is a bestseller for a reason — a true dream of a product perfect for those of you with oily skin, it flies off the shelves quickly, so make sure to grab one to try if you see it in stock.
Their Daily Dissolve Cleansing Balm is also great at effectively removing any makeup, sunscreen, and impurities with a minimal amount of product. This is a type of product that isn’t present in the Glossier collection, so if you’re like me and like to meet all your cleansing needs from one brand, then try Versed.
The packaging of Versed products is like Glossier’s — we see minimalistic designs with a modern flare and a touch of pastels for a fresh feel.
All in all, a great cruelty-free skincare brand similar to Glossier which you should check. There are different ranges too, so there’s a high chance that you’ll find something that can suit your specific needs (unlike the Glossier skincare range).
Glow Recipe
Now, Glow Recipe is a whole other deal. It’s slightly more expensive than the other two alternatives to Glossier skincare, but it deserves every cent in terms of skincare quality and user experience.
The brand has a playful yet effective take on many skincare staples such as serums and moisturizers. It focuses on natural beauty and ingredients derived from plant extracts.
They do a great job of combining amazing user experience with ingredients that are proven to deliver results for your skin, and they package everything in a cutesy yet substantial way – perfect to gift to someone, display in your bathroom, or get the perfect aesthetic for Instagram/TikTok.
Their Niacinamide Dew Drops serum is similar to Glossier’s Futuredew, albeit more expensive (I’ve included two cheaper alternatives to the product down below), and they have a bunch of other bestsellers worth your attention.
If you’re a fan of the Glossier Solution, do try the Glow Recipe Watermelon Glow Pha+Bha Pore-Tight Toner as a gentler alternative. It feels much better on your skin, has a calming effect, and it’s great for most skin types.

PURITO
PURITO is another Korean skincare brand like Glossier but much cheaper and more focused on effectiveness.
You’ll love their Dermide Relief Barrier Moisturizer as it’s similar to the Glossier’s Priming Moisturizer Rich but much more affordable. It’s a product I often use when my skin needs a little TLC after procedures, a day at the beach, or due to testing different skincare — it’s one of the most soothing and calming moisturizers I’ve ever used and it’s a staple in my routine.
PURITO’s Cica Clearing BB Cream line is also very similar to the Perfecting Skin Tint, so if you’re looking for products like Glossier Skin Tint, you might like this brand better — it’s also cheaper and is way better for your skin.
PURITO, like most Korean brands, widely uses Centella Asiatica (Cica) in its skincare lines. The ingredient is known to soothe and calm irritated skin. So if you’ve ever had problems with Glossier who are known to put fragrance in their products, do try PURITO as a better alternative.
Most of these companies on my list of best skincare brands like Glossier are readily available in the US and the rest of the world. Shipping is easy with Amazon or other online retailers, and some can be found in shops, too.
They are either cheaper or boast formulations far superior to what Glossier offers at the moment. If you’re looking for a good skincare alternative to Glossier, the four brands mentioned can be your first and last choice 🙂
If you’re looking for a specific dupe for a Glossier product, I have a dedicated section for that below.
Makeup brands like Glossier
In terms of makeup, the products that are closest to what Glossier offers aren’t many.
I’ve personally tested over 12 brands recommended on Reddit as good makeup brands like Glossier — most of them didn’t come even close:
- ILIA is way too expensive, I’d rather continue using Glossier;
- Typology is hard to get your hands on in the US, I didn’t enjoy the shipping options;
- Olio E Osso sounds and looks promising, but I find that “natural”, and “handmade” makeup doesn’t work on me as well as the ordinary one, and Glossier isn’t such a brand anyways so why swap it with one?
So, Glossier is known for its sheer makeup that makes your natural skin texture stand out.
Korean makeup often focuses on achieving a natural and dewy finish — a quality that Glossier is known for.
So it’s no wonder that there are several makeup brands like Glossier, from Korea, on my list of best alternatives.
If you’re looking for a specific dupe for a Glossier product, I have a dedicated section for that below.
rom&nd
This South Korean brand is well-known for its quality, juicy-looking makeup that gives you the perfect natural dewiness and a touch of fruity freshness.
Their Juicy Lasting Tint is very similar to Glossier’s Ultralip, yet more affordable. And you have a total of 25 shades to choose from! My favorite is the Mulled Peach — the perfect neutral pink for any occasion.
However, my personal favorite product line is the Dewyful Watertint which is just the perfect lippie for the summer — sheer, juicy, and with a hint of color. Longlasting too!
The See-through Melting Cheek is also worth mentioning as it’s multifunctional and can be used on eyes and lips as well. The price point makes this product super economical and I’d say that those of you with minimalistic beauty routines will appreciate it.
The prices of rom&nd brand are far cheaper than Glossier, and the quality and packaging are very similar. If you’re looking for a reliable makeup alternative, check this brand out.
ETUDE
Another Korean brand, ETUDE (previously Etude House), actually stocks more than makeup — you’ll find some effective skincare products too, with the SoonJung line being the most notable, you’ll see it in most Korean influencers’ feeds.
However, as we’re here looking for makeup similar to Glossier, check out their Glow Fixing Tint — I swear this is the juiciest lip you could get!
And the Water Tints cost about 7 bucks for 0.18 oz — way cheaper than the Cloud Paint! It’s also more buildable, I find — you can wear it as sheer or opaque as you like.
It’s marketed as a lip product, but I’d say it’s pretty multifunctional, I use it all over my face where I need color.
ETUDE’s cushion range is also worth mentioning as a great alternative to Glossier’s Perfecting Skin Tint — they give a light and buildable coverage and are more convenient in terms of packaging to carry in your handbag or even to travel with.
Kosas
Kosas is a Los-Angeles based makeup company similar to Glossier because of their focus on dewy finishes, light washes of color, and youthful, minimalistic packaging.
Their Revealer Concealer is one of the best substitutes for the Stretch Concealer from Glossier that I’ve personally tried, albeit being more expensive.
But I actually want to introduce you to some bestsellers without an equivalent at Glossier:
The Kosas Glos I.V is a beautifying cocktail of skin goodness that illuminates your face while giving it some invaluable skin love. The product is moisturizing and works on brightening the skin while at the same time giving it a slight glow — the perfect product to wear on its own or under foundation.
The Kosas Chemistry Deodorant is a two-in-one product that deals with undesired underarm smell two-fold – first, by deodorizing the area, and second — by utilizing alpha hydroxy acid (lactic and mandelic acid) to gently exfoliate your armpits and prevent the smell from occurring in the first place. The combo also tackles ingrown hairs — a huge bonus for those of us who shave!
So, if you’re open to expanding your horizons and not necessarily looking for makeup brands exactly like Glossier, give Kosas a try, you’ll be left amazed.
Peripera
Another Korean bestselling makeup brand like Glossier, Peripera is known for their vegan products with a wide range of colors available to choose from.
Their lip glosses are very similar to what Glossier offers, even though here you’ll find a larger selection of shades and formulation finishes, and at a fraction of the cost of Glossier products.
My favorite line from Peripera is the INK Velvets — a lip creme range similar to Glossier’s G Suit, these can double down as a cheek tint too. They’re creamy, pigmented, and stay put for hours on your lips and face.
While the bottles look small, the color is so intense that you needn’t apply too much to get the desired look. And if you’re a fan of a more natural finish, they also offer a sheer, liquidy variation named INK AIRY Velvet.
Peripera has other makeup similar to Glossier, so make sure to browse their collection in order to find the alternative you’re looking for.
Milk Makeup
If you’re a makeup junkie then Milk Makeup needs no introduction. I’d say this makeup brand is like Glossier in terms of its philosophy and modern outlook on things.
Milk Makeup has too many great products to mention all, but some of their bestsellers include:
The Hydro Grip Make Up Hydrating Primer is what Futuredew isn’t — a deeply hydrating goodness that grips to your makeup look throughout the day, not letting it budge even an inch.
The Lip and Cheek Tint also deserves your attention as a great alternative to Glossier’s Cloud Paint.
The very fact that this comes in a stick and not a cream, makes this blush easier to apply and much faster. I find that I get the perfect amount of blush with this. Whereas the Cloud Paint can be tricky to use — you either squeeze too little, or more often, too much, and end up looking like a clown.
The Milk Makeup KUSH Fiber Brow Gel is also very similar to Boy Brow in terms of the end look that you get. I feel this one is more natural to the Boy Brow which tends to harden a lot in comparison to this one.
Milk Makeup is slightly more expensive than Glossier, but if you’re a makeup lover, you’ll enjoy the Milk products more than Glossier nowadays.
I find their formulations to be far superior and long-lasting to what Glossier offers. Glossier is more for people who already have amazing skin and want to show it off. Milk Makeup actually helps to make your skin look amazing and your makeup stay in place.
